Tarot for Troubled Times

In this episode, Holly and Esther have a moment with the moon (what is WITH that bright jerk this week), and then talk about Tarot for Troubled Times by Theresa Reed and Shaheen Miro and published by Weiser Books , for a million years. We get INTO it. Whether you’re dealing with a Troubled Times (like Holly) or still so deeply inside of the Troubled Times that you’re not ready to work through it (like Esther), this one is HELPFUL and magical. PLUS we have an extra copy and we’re doing a giveaway!

Three notes:

  1. Next week Esther will be on an island in the middle of the ocean so Holly will be joined by friend-of-the-show Kylie (@thearchivistwitch on Instagram) and will be talking about grief and tarot (in a fun way!).

  2. We’re hosting a giveaway of the book we read this week! Head to our Instagram for the details! @wildlytarotpodcast
  3. There is a CW for a brief mention of sexual assault about two thirds of the way through this episode.

Otherkin Tarot

We start off our episode by reading some wonderful listener comments about Queering the Tarot. For our listener questions we take some "yes or no" phrased life questions and demonstrate how we change them to allow for a better tarot reading, and we talk about using tarot for medical conditions and reading we've done where medical stuff pops up. Our deck of the week is the whimsical, otherworldly, and sagacious Otherkin Tarot deck by Siolo Thompson!

Our episode next week will be a day late, but we promise it will be well worth it! Send us a DM if you think you know what our special 30th episode entails!!!

She Wolfe Tarot

In this episode Holly and Esther were inspired by our listener question about using only majors in spreads so we decide to do a  Summer Solstice/Litha spread from BujoWitchcraft using ALL MAJORS! This leads to some vulnerable spots for SOME of us (looking at Holly right now)! We also talk about the absolutely breathtaking She Wolfe Tarot by Serpentfire—a deck that doesn't mess around—and gush about how much we love it for its straightforward realness.

Our deck of the week next week is Compendium of Constellations by Black and the Moon!

Druidcraft Tarot

In this episode Holly gushes about the Lucky Potion Oracle prototype she received this past week. We do a reading for a listener involving the source of nightmares and how to deal with them. We intensely talk about deck modifications, how to do it, why you should do it, and what decks we have personally modified. Finally, our deck of the week is the rustic, timeless, and widely modified Druidcraft tarot.

Next week we will be talking about Ethony's new book "Your Tarot Court" so if you want to read the book before we talk about it incessantly you better start now!
