Intrusive Thoughts

In this episode since we don't have any questions, we just allow the intrusive thoughts to run wild starting with Holly discussing the FOUR kinds of cranberry sauce she is making for Thanksgiving dinner, including Mama Stamberg's Cranberry Relish Recipe that calls for onions, sour cream and horseradish. We continue our discussion through a myriad of tarot topics, documentaries, and personal stories to round out our last episode of this season!

Questions

Banter in this episode begins with raving about both Twin Flames documentaries and House of Villains. Apologies from Esther that her dogs barked for the first 20 minutes or so...it was an unexpected busy day in the outside world and the dogs had feelings.

The Pulp Tarot

Opening banter involves waxing poetically about National Parks, Nature, Wedding enjoyment, and "Fuck Mustard"! Our opening question is from one of our faves, Patrick from Queen of Glam Tarot asking how they can re-direct their energy during a time when their public persona is under attack from the recent legislation currently happening in their state. Our second question from Lauren asks about next steps in their life in pursuing a Masters in Social Work or a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. 
Our deck of the week that Esther was trying to convince Holly too purchase is the Pulp Tarot by Todd Alcott. Then mid-episode Holly remembers she purchased it and could not find it. Building a Tattoo Mantra for Esther with Compendium of Constellations

Ragnarok: Twilight Tarot

The Tarot of Curious Creatures

In this episode we immediately get down to business because *someone* has jury duty. In our first question of the episode, a listener asks how to connect with their Grandmother using tarot so we pull out "Ancestral Tarot" by Nancy Hendrikson and use a spread she created to connect with our beloved dead. Our second question of the episode asks what our listener can do to expand and become more confident in their practice.

Our opening banter is still us continuing to enjoy the "Idiots to lovers" trope in Romance, referencing a book (or two) that have hit that sweet spot recently. In our review-less episode we (totally on purpose *cough*) start out by giving listeners a sneak peak in what goes into our choosing a deck to review each week.  Then as banter we talk about the "Neutral Shift Cycle" concept and how it's opened our eyes to so many trends from our lifetimes.The first question from our listener, combines things she is working on in therapy and asking us how to expand on those ideas and concepts. Our second question, from Natalie, allows us to be a little more indulgent in pulling cards for each other asks us to elaborate on why we're so great. Our final question is from a listener who is trying to balance supporting their husband and taking care of themselves in the process.

Baby, We’re Back! (With some hiatus decks & books!)

The second question of our episode our listener asks about staying with her current company and potential career opportunities or starting to see what else is out there.

A collaborative card game called Quicktionary (Upon Holly's suggestion, Esther has already purchased a copy!) Also, sending love out to the family of Norbert Loesche, creator of one of our favorite decks, Cosmic Tarot, for their passing during our hiatus. We wrote a chapter in our book about his deck, and are so thankful for his impact on our tarot practice through his artwork.
