Thursday Dec 12, 2019
Thursday Dec 12, 2019
This week we begin by talking about how fantastic Madam Clara, the creator of 5 Cent Tarot is for quickly replacing a card for Esther, then we address THREE questions for this week! Our first querent is looking for guidance on this upcoming Grad School quarter and how to avoid burn out, our second question is about what to do about finding a different job when your current work environment is toxic, and our last questions is how to avoid negative brain space when you are overwhelmed. For the last question, Holly shared this pages of Breathing Exercises she uses during the day to find moments of calm in the midst of chaos that hopefully you too will find helpful! Our deck of the week is the STUNNING, AMAZING, and Wildly Inclusive Modern Witch Tarot by Lisa Sterle.

Thursday Dec 05, 2019
In this episode Holly gives an important update about something shared our previous Lucky Potion bonus episode. In our first question of the episode we share our own experiences of keeping our real identity a secret (or not so secret) when you're wanting to delve into a more public witchy online presence. Our second question from a listener delves into finding a job after graduation and what they can do in the meantime. We make some special announcements about Patreon bonus content and our giveaways for Yule, and finally jump in to review our deck of the week; the beautiful Maybe Lenormand by Ryan Edwards!

Herbcrafter's Tarot
Friday Nov 15, 2019
Friday Nov 15, 2019
In this episode the warmth from the 10 of cups (or is that 10 cups of sake?) emboldens our hearts and makes us more joyful...or maybe it was the breathing exercises we did before the show?
**Don't forget! We were so graciously given a discount code for our listeners from Weiser books! So use HLLY (allcaps) when you checkout and you will receive a 33% discount on your items! This code is good until the end of December so definitely use it generously!!!**
Our listener questions for this episode are two heavy hitters but we don't shy away from using tarot to help listeners navigate some tricky life situations. The first question comes with a content warning as it has to do with involvement in an ex-gay religious ministry and our second question asks what to do about a toxic friendship.
In our most in-depth look at a deck, we rave about the amazing Herbcrafter's Tarot which is a must-buy for these kitchen witches. We dive deep into the meanings behind some controversial cards and in the meantime Mercury Retrograde strikes as we try to finish the episode!

Thursday Nov 07, 2019
The gals are excited after having a much needed staff meeting where lots of plans are being made for November and December for Wildly Tarot! However, first we need to apologize to Pixel Occult for not only pronouncing their name wrong the entire podcast but also their deck name! We hope that we can be forgiven for our lack of reading skills. Also, check out our friend Tara's witchy podcast, "Talk Witchy to Me"! Both Holly and Esther will be on upcoming episodes so keep an eye out for those coming out soon!
**We also have been so graciously given a discount code for our listeners from Weiser books! So use HLLY (allcaps) when you checkout and you will receive a 33% discount on your items! This code is good until the end of December so definitely use it generously!!!**This episode we tackle 3 life changing questions from our readers! We answer questions about a listener's focus for the future, starting an herb garden during a time when money is a bit tight, and we answer if our listener should follow their heart or if they should reexamine their motivations and stay put. Our deck of the week is the Marigold Tarot by Amrit Brar. This skeleton-y, golden deck was gifted to Esther for her birthday this past year and in the recent months has become one of her favorite decks to use for ancestral work! Listen to hear us gush over the use of plants and skulls.

Adorabyssal Oracle
Thursday Oct 31, 2019
Thursday Oct 31, 2019
In today's fun Halloween episode, we start out by just admitting that we're Horrible Adorables (please call us that!) and fully embrace our adorable and bumbling spoopiness and this episode definitely reflects that!
Our deck of the week is the cryptid-tacular Adorabyssal Oracle by Pixel Occult .* After reviewing the deck we decided to draw cards and dive into the cryptid mythology for our card!
To continue on with our tradition of doing a spread for the Wheel of the Year sabbats we decided to do two spreads from FablesDen's 9 Spooky Spreads for Halloween spread book! These fun yet meaningful spreads helped enlighten both of the gals in areas we need to focus on while softening the powerful blow with cute spread guides and fun positions. FablesDen is also the creator of Way of the Panda Tarot which is Esther's soul deck so definitely go adopt a new best Panda friend while you're purchasing some spreads!
Check out our website to submit questions for the pod and to shop all of our reviewed decks and books. To interact with us between episodes join our Wildy Tarot Patreon and Facebook Group! You can follow us on Instagram, and while you're there you can also follow Holly and Esther.

*Please note that we give our sincerest apologies for mispronouncing Pixel Occult's name. All of our links are correct, nothing to see here...just our normal act of putting our foot in our mouths!

The show notes for this episode are a bit extensive because we're covering the basics of Lenormand! In our 'Pixie's Astounding Lenormand' episode we talked more about the history of Lenormand, but as we're diving deeper into our 'Lenny' journeys we are excited to share with our listeners what we have learned and how we have integrated it into our own practices. Therefore our notes are sort of our sources for the episode are what we think the best sources for learning Lenormand!First, Toni Puhle's Udemy Lenormand courses are on MAJOR sale as of the publishing of this episode, but if you miss the sale Udemy frequently puts classes on sale so be sure to check back at a later date!
Learn to Read Lenormand Cards Level 1 - Card Meanings and small Lenormand Spreads.
Learn to Read Lenormand Cards Level 2 - Vertical and Horizontal Interactions and cross spreads.
Lenormand Cards Grand Tableau (GT) Game of Hope Techniques - Learn how to read the Grand Tableau!
Toni also has some amazing Youtube videos to help you on your journey of learning Lenormand. Check out her entire Lenormand Playlist for more than just what we recommend below!
Asking the right questions
Lenormand Dailies
Testing your cards
Lenormand 9 Card Spread
Reading a Grand Tableau
Secondly, other recommended resources for this episode are Björn Meuris' Petit Lenormand Encyclopedia for an excellent beginner's guide to Lenormand with excellent meanings, spreads, and exercises! Labrynthos Academy also has quick Lenormand keywords you can find on their app (iOS/Android) as well as a library of card meanings on their website. Also check out Cafe Lenormand for a wealth of information about Meanings, spreads, combinations, and journaling!
Thirdly, our deck of the week is Sawyer's Lenormand which is a great deck for beginner and seasoned Lenormand readers alike! You can follow Jamie on Instagram where through the month of November she will be showcasing a Lenormand card and the meanings we can glean from it! Also she will be teaching a Lenormand Class at the Northwest Tarot Symposium in March of 2020 so if you're in the area then be sure to attend her class and tell her that we sent you!!!Check out our website to submit questions for the pod and to shop all of our reviewed decks and books. Circo Tarot / How to Deal
Thursday Oct 17, 2019
Thursday Oct 17, 2019
We start off this episode by Holly gushing over the 2 day Tarot and Astrology workshop she had with Theresa Reed (The Tarot Lady)! Then we jump right in and answer a listener question about signifier cards in tarot and how we chose them. As well as answering a question about a listener starting the healing journey after been harmed by the ableist culture we live in. Our deck of the week is the How to Deal book by Sami Main with the Mass Market version of Circo Tarot by Marisa de la Peña both sold as the "How to Deal" tarot and book set exclusively at Urban Outfitters. While having apprehensions about the location where the deck is sold we also really really love the deck so much and support the work that Marisa is doing with their upcoming "Not My Ancestors" workbook. The Power of Tarot
Thursday Oct 10, 2019
Thursday Oct 10, 2019
In this week's episode, Holly's voice is no longer haunted and her sultry tones are back because she has a brand new mic! We dive straight into our book review episode by talking about The Power of Tarot - "To Know Tarot, Read Tarot, and Live Tarot" Listen to hear our thoughts about this a fantastic tarot fundamentals book for both beginner and seasoned readers! This book pretty much put us out of a job answering questions on the podcast, but we WILL be back next week to talk about more decks, because you can't get rid of us THAT easy!

The Muse Tarot
Thursday Oct 03, 2019
Thursday Oct 03, 2019
In this episode, Holly and Esther get a little vulnerable and hope that you laugh with us as we stumble along in this deck making process. In our first question we discuss what to do when all options in a job reading come out negative; thanks to the help of the The Illustrated Bestiary ritual guide! In our second question we discuss what self care really means and share practical steps that have worked for us. Followed by pulling cards for our querent so they can find stability and take the right steps towards growth during this chaotic time.
Our deck of the week is the groundbreaking (and parameter busting) indie deck, The Muse Tarot by Chris-Anne. Holly and Esther hardcore fangirl for a solid 30 minutes about this deck, the longest they have ever reviewed a single deck in Wildly Tarot Podcast history! It will no longer be sold after October 6th in its original indie form, so if you're even thinking about purchasing it, DO IT NOW!

Thursday Sep 26, 2019
Holly and Esther start off by talking about all of the decks en route to Esther so you get a sneak peek of what we will possibly be featuring in the near future on the pod. Esther would also like to Apandapawlogize for all of the panda and bear puns in this episode. (Most of them were unintentional but necessary.) Our listener questions this week involve staying or leaving a disorganized handbell choir and if our other querent should focus on paying off student loans or moving in with their boyfriend. Our deck of the week is the soothing, calming, and nature inspired White Sage Tarot by Theresa Hutch. Listen to hear why it has 2 strikes against it but also the reasons we still love it as a working deck!Check out our website to submit questions for the pod and to shop all of our reviewed decks and books. Questions, Questions, Questions!
Thursday Sep 19, 2019
Thursday Sep 19, 2019
We've recently had an abundance of questions so we are dedicating an entire episode to the questions submitted through our handy dandy form! So in this episode we have a little bit of everything just for you, our listeners!
Rude card of the day? Check.
Talking at length about deck storage and trying to legitimize our tarot collections as a normal? Oh most definitely.
Pulling out Lenormand cards to assist with a question? Check!
Pulling out Inner Star Oracle as a pep talk for a different question? Oh you know it!
Second guessing how to pronounce and spell the words querent and significator? I mean...would it even be Wildly Tarot Podcast if we weren't wrong but yet extremely endearing AND adorable?
So buckle up for the ride that is just questions, questions, questions!

In this week's episode, we are excited that Esther's move is finally over and she has access to all of her decks now! We also announce the official release of our website and that we are taking pre-orders for our Wildly Tarot Deck! Our listener questions this week deal with creative blocks and how to get past them and if the querent for our second question should stick it our or leave their toxic work environment. Our current moon phase comes up in a reading which allows for Holly to have a mini moon minute for our listeners! (Join our Patreon to get them regularly!) Then finally, after using 4 other decks in this episode, we get to our deck of the week which is the timelessly beautiful, Ethereal Visions by Matt Hughes!

Postcards from the Liminal Space
Thursday Aug 29, 2019
Thursday Aug 29, 2019
Since it has been two weeks since Esther and Holly have talked to each other, our excitement causes us to be all over the place this episode! A listener question surprisingly puts us through a gauntlet of MATH WORDS you guys, BUT we power through and were able to deliver a coherent reading about their PHD pursuits. We also answer a listener question about sharing with their partner and how to encourage them to open up about the deeper things within them. Our deck of the week is the quirky, super woo-woo, and in your face oracle deck, Postcards from the Liminal Space by Bakara Wintner and Christian T. Berry from Everyday Magic.

Earth Bones Tarot
Friday Aug 23, 2019
Friday Aug 23, 2019
While Esther is away the Holly and our guest co-host Kylie (@thearchivistwitch) will play! Upfront, some content warnings for this episode! We talk about death, grief, cancer, terminal illness, suicide, depression, suicidal ideations, menstruation, and how we are personally dealing with the waves of grief. Kylie introduces us to Matt, her fiance that she lost to cancer this past April, and how tarot (and therapy) has helped her with connecting to Matt and moving forward beyond the grief. Holly and Kylie each walk through the spread we mentioned in our Tarot for Troubled Times episode and share how it helped reveal truths to them about themselves and processing their grief.Along the way there is sadness, laughter, and honoring the lives of those we have lost by "Moving Forward, Not Moving On" and the book The Hot Young Widows Club. We finish out our episode by reviewing the extremely loved (by Kylie especially) Earth Bones Tarot deck by Alchemi_Soul on Instagram! Michalea is a goddess damn genius and is completing their second edition of this deck that will soon open for pre-orders. So as Kylie would say, "GET ON IT!"

Thursday Jun 20, 2019
In this episode Holly and Esther were inspired by our listener question about using only majors in spreads so we decide to do a Summer Solstice/Litha spread from BujoWitchcraft using ALL MAJORS! This leads to some vulnerable spots for SOME of us (looking at Holly right now)! We also talk about the absolutely breathtaking She Wolfe Tarot by Serpentfire—a deck that doesn't mess around—and gush about how much we love it for its straightforward realness.
Our deck of the week next week is Compendium of Constellations by Black and the Moon!

In this episode Holly gushes about the Lucky Potion Oracle prototype she received this past week. We do a reading for a listener involving the source of nightmares and how to deal with them. We intensely talk about deck modifications, how to do it, why you should do it, and what decks we have personally modified. Finally, our deck of the week is the rustic, timeless, and widely modified Druidcraft tarot.
Next week we will be talking about Ethony's new book "Your Tarot Court" so if you want to read the book before we talk about it incessantly you better start now!

In this episode we talk about the tarot readings that appeared in the new Netflix movie, Wine Country. The 10 of Pentacles as our card of the day stays very present during the episode in the form of a 65-lbs dog named Mac! We continue with our 'Good Place to Start' series by talking about grounding, good beginner spreads, phrasing questions, and tarot reader ethics. Our question of the day quickly gets house witchy when our listener seeks guidance on her move and how to celebrate her new space. Our deck of the week is the good old Borderless Smith-Waite Tarot deck!
Resources we mentioned in this episode are Mrs. B's Guide to Household Witchery and Japaridze Tarot.
