Listeners, we've powered through every summer since the inception of our podcast. Well this year we're taking a break until September so we won't have burn out by the time our Summer is over. Thank you so much for understanding. See you in September!

Re-release of the Book of Speculation

We're dealing with some major personal stuff that's prevented us from recording for the last few weeks (don't worry, all humans and animals are physically safe) so we're revisiting an old favorite from December of 2018--our recap of the Book of Speculation by Erika Swyler.

Meraki Tarot

We open the show by bantering about modern RomComs and Holly implores everyone to go see The Lost City starring Sandra Bullock, Channing Tatum and Daniel Radcliffe immediately! 
We did our annoucements at the front end of the episode since we have so many friends whose projects we wanted to hype! Our questions for the episode involve our first querent wanting to know how they can engage with their writing and our second querent asks about the best living situation for them and their wonderful cat, Cheese.

Good Karma Tarot

Holly and Esther immediately start recording after seeing each other because they both already have different thoughts about our deck of the episode! Holly also explains why her coffee delayed her appearance for their recording. (We are a pro-coffee and pro-union podcast in case that needed to be clarified.) Our questions for the episode involve whether our first querent should continue seeing a psychiatrist now that they've found a therapist. Our second querent asks how to tell a partner that they're wanting to break up and other big life questions that comes with making that decision. And finally, for our deck of the episode, The Good Karma Tarot, you find out reasons why Esther low-key/high-key doesn't like the deck and Holly enjoys it! One of the first decks in a while that has been this ~controversial between the two! 

Amor Et Psyche Oracle

Holly shares about her new hair gloss treatment that made her beautiful red hair more vibrant and we talk about how we narrowly avoided our "Oops All Oracle" episode becoming an "Oops all Black and the Moon Oracle" episode. 
Both questions for the episode are a little similar, previously we've answered questions for both questions and so there's a return to ask where the relationships stand now and how to proceed forward. Unsurprisingly, Compendium of Constellations and RECLAIM Oracle do not hold back!

Motherpeace Tarot

Apologies for the late release of this episode, there was a death in Esther's family so we are grateful for your patience. In this episode we mention the 100 Day Dress challenge Esther is doing along with the no-clothing-buy Esther and Holly are doing together! The first question of the episode asks about when would be a good time to become a dog parent. Tarot of Oppositions

The Carnival at the End of the World Tarot

To open the episode, we geek out about Galaxy Quest (only the best comedy/scifi movie of all time!), when Holly tells Esther about her visit to the Museum of Pop Culture! The first question from our querent asks what to do about the disappointment, discouragement, and coping emotionally with their journey in wanting to conceive a child. Our second questions asks Holly and Esther their beliefs about tarot, if it has powers, and how to trust in something again after being betrayed so deeply by Christianity.

Thoth Tarot

Welcome to Wildly Tarot Summer Camp!!
Well it's finally here, the much anticipated episode where we review Thoth tarot. However, we start this episode like every other summer camp episode by doing a longer reading. As a surprise to probably no one we decided to forego the Celtic Cross spread for the week and use the Spread Machines Oracle deck by Fablesden which ended up being the best idea ever!! 
Then we dive into Thoth Tarot by Lady Freida Harris and Aleister Crowley! It's been a deck we've avoided reviewing because of the legacy of Crowley being a garbage person, (We mentioned Last Podcast on the Left's episodes about Crowely and you can find them here: Episode 1 Episode 2 ) but as we wrote the chapter for our book, "The History of Tarot Art" we discovered the story of the artist, Lady Freida, and fell in love with Thoth.
